" Life is a balance of holding on and letting go" - Rumi
I am a swimmer turned rock-climbing yogi. I was a life-long athlete, competing in swimming, water polo, and golf for most of my adolescent years. Once I got to college, I fell in love with yoga, hiking, and rock climbing. Between my undergrad and graduate studies, I received my 200hr in Power Yoga through the Rachel Silverman Yoga School in Orange County. I've taught in Orange County, Atlanta, and the East Bay. I also have received a certification in SUP Yoga from Soulful Yoga & SUP out of Atlanta, GA and Restorative from Pranakriya in Atlanta, GA. I am looking forward to achieving my 500hr in the next year or so. I am also in training for a Buti Yoga Certification (yes, it is as fun as it sounds).
Now the less boring stuff - my teaching philosophy is to keep it simple, safe, and playful. I am a big believer in straightforward cueing, hands-on adjustments, and progressive sequencing. I've worked with students of all ages and skill levels, both on land and on water. My style is focused on creating both strength and stability through playful sequences.
I would love to work with you - say heyyy here.
